Frequently Asked Questions - MacPuyo 2
Updated: Wednesday, December 11, 2002, 2 P.M.

If I purchased MacPuyo 1.5 or earlier, do I have to purchase MacPuyo 2?
or,
I'm trying to enter my Username and Registration code from MacPuyo 1 into MacPuyo 2, but it won't work. Why not?

MacPuyo 2 is a separate product from MacPuyo 1. It requires a different Username/Serial number. You can purchase MacPuyo 2 ($15 USD) by clicking on the "Purchase" button on our website.

While it is our policy not to charge for updates to software (i.e. 1.2 or 1.5), MacPuyo 2 is an entirely new program. If you buy MacPuyo 2, you will not have to pay for upgrades such as MacPuyo 2 (v 1.2, etc.), but MacPuyo 3 (if there is one) will require that you purchase it.

Frequently Asked Questions - MacPuyo 1.5 or earlier

Updated: Saturday, March 3, 2001, 5 P.M.

What is MacPuyo 1?
MacPuyo is a puzzle/arcade game similar to Tetris and other "falling-object" games. The goal is to position the falling blobs so the blobs of the same color are touching. When you form a group of four or more, they will disappear. This will increase your score in the single player game, or cause metallic blobs to be dropped on your opponent in the multi-player game.

How do I purchase the full version of MacPuyo 1? And what is the cost?
All our sales are handled by Kagi payment service. You may buy it online at http://order.kagi.com/?UB5 or by using the Registration or Purchase application included with MacPuyo. Instructions on both methods are included when you download the trial version of MacPuyo.

The cost of MacPuyo is $15 US per single user licence. If you wish you may also purchase a site licence for your company or organization for $50 US or a World Wide licence for $150. See the Read Me file included with MacPuyo for full details on Site or World Wide licencing.

What happens when I purchase MacPuyo 1?
After you purchase MacPuyo (either online or by mail), you will receive an email or postcard "Thanks for your Payment," which includes your username and password. When you enter your username/password the trail version of MacPuyo will become the full version, and certain featuers will be unlocked. You will then have access to the High Scores area and the two-game limit will be removed. You will also be supporting the development efforts of more games from Liquid Metal Software.

If I've purchase an earlier version of MacPuyo 1, do I have to pay again?
Of course not! All you have to do is enter your username/password into the new version and you're all set.

I've received my "Thanks for your Payment" email, but where's the password?
Don't worry, your password is there ... just scroll down through the email until you get to the user name and password area.

Okay, I give up. How do you enter the user name and password?
Once you've purchased MacPuyo, and received an email with your user name and password code: Go to the Apple menu (while MacPuyo is running of course) and select "Purchase ..."* A menu will appear asking for your name and password code. Just a reminder: make sure you enter your name and password exactly as shown in your email or postcard receipt.

*Please note: In earlier versions of MacPuyo, this menu was named "Registration ... "
